Ivor_E_Tower Posted September 11, 2004 Report Posted September 11, 2004 Age of your car? Do you have the aircon switched on? On post-facelift models, the fans run when the aircon is switched on even if the water temp is cold. The fans are variable speed, so if you think they are only runing when you can hear them from the driver's seat with the window down, you may be mistaken! - they may be running all the time but you just cannot hear them on their low settings.Not sure of the arrangements on earlier models.
